This engine, which powers the Australian-spec double-cab Amarok, delivers an impressive output of 222 kW and 452 N.m of torque, surpassing the torque produced by the single-turbo Ranger available in the local market.
Adding to the intrigue, speculation has emerged suggesting that the production of this hypothetical hybrid Ranger might take place at Ford’s prestigious Silverton production plant in South Africa.
